Washington, D.C. to host 41st International Gaming Summit

The International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) has announced that Washington, D.C. will be the host city for its 41st International Gaming Summit. The event is scheduled to take place from May 27 to May 30, 2024, at The Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C.

The Summit is a premier event in the global gaming industry, bringing together leaders from various sectors, including operators, suppliers, attorneys, investors, bankers, regulators, and other advisors. The event provides a unique platform for these delegates to discuss the most pressing issues facing the gaming industry today.

This year, the Summit will focus on the rapidly expanding US sports betting market. “We are pleased to announce an agenda that includes a specific focus on some of the key sports betting issues the US market is facing,” said John Stawyskyj, IAGA President and a Partner with Ashurst. The Summit aims to bring together representatives from global sports betting operators, regulatory agencies, professional sports leagues, and other experts to discuss how the industry’s stakeholders can work together to ensure a sustainable, responsible sports betting environment.

In addition to sports betting, the Summit will also address other important issues such as the growing impact of fraud and cyber breaches on regulated operators, the federal and state lobbying process, updates on gaming markets outside North America, and the potential impact of new technologies on gaming.

The full Summit agenda is available online and will be updated as more participants are confirmed. The Summit will also feature evening social events, including a welcome reception at The Ritz-Carlton, a President’s Dinner at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farms, and a closing reception at the Spy Museum.

Registration for the 2024 Summit is now open. For more information, please contact IAGA Executive Director Kirsten Clark.
