Last month’s total gaming revenue hit more than $310.7 million setting a new record for the state

The online gambling market in Pennsylvania, in the United States, has seen a significant growth this month. Revenue in the region has soared by 1544.1%, from?3.4 million USD in August 2019 (the first full month of the event) to 55.9 million USD setting a new record for the state.?

On October 30, 2017, Pennsylvania became the fourth state in the United States to legalise online gambling, allowing residents to place bets and purchase lotto through the Internet, becoming the first state in the United States to allow both online gambling and online lotto.?

Due to the growth of gaming and sports betting, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said that Pennsylvania’s total gaming revenue in August increased by 5.8% year-on-year.
