Bloomberry reveals plans for third Solaire Resort in the Philippines???

Bloomberry Resorts Corp. has announced plans to open its third Solaire-branded integrated resort, Solaire Puerto Azul, in Cavite, south of Metro Manila. The company revealed on Wednesday that while a specific timeline for the project’s completion has not been finalised, it aims to launch the new resort within the next five to ten years.

In a recent filing, Bloomberry confirmed that it is in the process of finalising the land acquisition in Paniman, Ternate in Cavite, and is working on the master plan for the development. ??

This upcoming resort will mark Bloomberry’s third major project under the Solaire brand, following the successful launches of Solaire Resort Entertainment City in 2013 and Solaire Resort North, which opened in March this year.??

Solaire Puerto Azul set to boost Philippines’ gaming industry

Solaire Puerto Azul is part of a broader strategy to enhance the Philippines’ status as a premier destination for global tourism and gaming. The new casino is expected to further invigorate the local gaming industry and contribute to the country’s economic growth.

The development aligns with the Philippine government’s efforts to expand its integrated resort offerings, with several new projects on the horizon. Alejandro Tengco, Chairman and CEO of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR), highlighted the increasing interest in the Philippines’ gaming sector, attributing it to the country’s growing reputation as a top tourism and entertainment destination.??

Tengco mentioned that under the current administration, at least six new integrated resorts are planned, including one in Entertainment City by 2025 and additional projects in Cebu and Boracay by 2026. Clark, an economic zone in Central Luzon, is also being considered for a new integrated resort by 2027.

Investment and future developments

The Cavite casino project is anticipated to require a minimum investment of $300 million. Bloomberry signed an agreement in April 2022 to acquire land for Solaire Puerto Azul, further demonstrating its commitment to expanding its footprint in the Philippine gaming market.?
